When I do stare, see how the subject quakes. I pardon that man’s life. What was thy cause? Adultery? Thou shalt not die. Die for adultery? No. The wren goes to ’t, and the small gilded fly does lecher in my sight. Let copulation thrive, for Gloucester’s bastard son Was kinder to his father than my daughters got ’tween the lawful sheets. I went to a psychic who gave me a reading and discussed my past lives. He said in fact I was an alien, not a human, not actually of this world at all but had come into karmic incarnation in this world to learn this and that. A Mimbari? It could be true.

And you Fiona - I always light up when I see your name in the comments, I'm so glad you read my stuff. Sometimes you're the only one. But I love the fact that you get my stuff. Thank you thank you thank you for reading my stuff.

Garce

Garceushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11160407485298015371noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7396437919069310850.post-63584159314864234062013-10-18T19:48:43.745-04:002013-10-18T19:48:43.745-04:00Hi Donna!

Now if I could just find the story . . .

I was talking to some friends in my church over coffee and one of them was telling a story of riding the subway in New York and he said the woman next to him had nudged him and said those exact words. I just thought "There must be something I can do with that." That's why I carry a pocket notebook everywhere I go.

GarceGarceushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11160407485298015371noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7396437919069310850.post-6704275655366813782013-10-16T00:12:10.222-04:002013-10-16T00:12:10.222-04:00In the great sci-fi show Babylon 5, the race that ...In the great sci-fi show Babylon 5, the race that was beating the snot out of humans all of a sudden stopped winning...stopped fighting us entirely. No one could figure out why. Eventually in the plot-line, one of the Mimbari said that their greatest wise people had discovered that humans were Mimbari souls reincarnated...so in effect, to wipe out humans was to defeat their own people who had chosen to come back as humans. The war was over from then on, and they began to learn how to co-exist. I thought that was a great idea, and one I'm still mulling over.

You always write such provocative posts. You've talked about the Tulkas before. One such piece was what first caught my eye and made me realize I had to read all of your postings, anywhere. Thanks for reliably making me think new thoughts. I enjoy that.Fiona McGierhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13495707848048468428noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7396437919069310850.post-46645860248502077192013-10-15T17:44:19.497-04:002013-10-15T17:44:19.497-04:00Oooh, I like this.
